Mouse Solutions

If you're having difficulty using the mouse that came with your computer, here are some alternatives.

Change the Mouse Settings

XP

Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen.

Go to Control Panel > Printers and Other Hardware > Mouse.

Try lowering the double-click speed (Button tab) and the pointer speed (Pointer tab).

Vista

Click the Windows symbol in the lower-left corner of your screen.

Go to Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Mouse.

Try lowering the double-click speed (Button tab) and the pointer speed (Pointer Options tab).

Change the Monitor Resolution

The menus and icons can be made larger by lowering the the resolution of the monitor.
