If you're curious, here's what to do.
Should a program stop functioning properly, do one of the following.
• Click and hold the dock icon of the program, and select Force Quit.
• Go the Apple menu, and select Force Quit.
Then, select any program from the Force Quit window and click Force Quit.
• Press Command + Option + Esc.
Then, select any program from the Force Quit window and click Force Quit.
If the above commands don't work, try the following, in the order specified, until a command works.
1) Go to the Apple menu in the menu bar, and select Restart.
2) If you can't access the Apple menu to select Restart, or if the Restart command doesn't work, press Command + Control + Eject.
If that doesn't work try pressing Command + Option + Control + Eject to Shut Down.
3) If none of the above work, shut the computer off by holding down the power button.
