At the end of class, do the following.

1 - Saving Files

If you're using CDs or DVDs, skip ahead.

If you're using a USB flash drive, do the following.

1) Save your photographs to your USB flash drive.

2) Remove the USB flash drive according to the manufacturer's instructions.

In the absence of instructions, eject the USB flash drive to avoid any chance of corrupting your files.

Do one of the following.

• Press the Eject key.

The key has an upward pointing arrow with a horizontal line underneath.

It's located in the top right position on the keyboard.

• If your keyboard doesn't have an eject key, Press the F12 key, and hold for a few seconds.

If you press and release the key quickly, Dashboard will open.

• Press Command + e.

• Press Control, click on the drive icon, and select Eject.

• Drag the icon for the disk drive to the Trash icon in the Dock.

3) Skip ahead.

There are several ways to close a program.

Do one of the following.

If your mouse has only one button, press Control and click, to right click.
