Tips > How to Use a Mac >

1 - Introduction

1 - Tiger

This tutorial is for the Mac operating system OS X, version 10.4, which is called Tiger.

If you have an earlier version, some of the commands and features may be slightly different.

2 - Windows User? Not a Problem

Mac and Windows computers are more similar than they are different.

So, if you're a Windows user, you can become Mac proficient quickly.

Don't let the size of this tutorial make you think otherwise.

For example, the biggest difference is substituting the Mac Command key for the Ctrl key.

If you can remember that, you'll do fine.

3 - Use a USB Flash Drive

Use a USB flash drive to bring your photographs to class.

If you're not familiar with these devices, go to USB Flash Drive and How to Move Photographs to a Flash Drive.
