9 - Card Readers

You can transfer your photographs from your memory card to your computer by using a card reader.

There are three advantages:

• A card reader may be faster than a transfer using your camera.

• You don't have to make sure your camera batteries are fully charged.

• You can use a card reader to transfer photographs in reverse—from your computer to a memory card.

Card readers plug into a USB port on your computer.
