Seeing how light is affecting a scene is difficult because light is hard to observe because:
• We're immersed in light most of the time, we don't pay much attention to light.
• The qualities of light often change gradually, so changes are hard to notice.
• The light that we see with our eyes is often different when seen in a photograph.
