Language of Stop / 14.9 - Stop & Shutter Speed

If you move the shutter speed one stop, the light reaching the film either doubles, or decreases by half.

How many stops difference between 1/500th and 1/60th of a second?

1/500th	to	1/250th	is	1 stop more light
1/250th	to	1/125th	is	1 stop more light
1/125th	to	1/60th	is	1 stop more light
