Below, the amount setting of Unsharp Mask Sharpening was changed from 100% to 400%.

The sharpening with an amount of 100% added gray lines on either side of the edge between the two gray boxes.
Changing the amount from 100% to 400% changed the gray lines to lines that are more black and white.
You can see the change more clearly below.
