Photoshop Elements 11 & Earlier Versions

You can process JPEG files with the Adobe raw converter, that is part of Photoshop Elements.

You won't have the advantages of processing from a raw file, such as having more information in the shadow areas.

But, you may prefer the raw-converter style of editing to the Full-Edit style.

Also, in the Adobe Raw Converter, you have the Clarity and Vibrance sliders.

Their exact equivalents are not found in Full Edit.
