Your photographs are probably located in folders in My Pictures.
To go to My Pictures, do the following.
1) Go to the Windows Start menu by doing one of the following.
• Click the Start button.
• Press Ctrl + Esc.
• Press the Windows key.
2) Click My Pictures, and browse to the desired photograph file.
Your photograph files may be in folder that has the name of your camera manufacturer, in folders with years as titles, or ?
If you're photograph files are on a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, do the following.
1) Go to the Windows Start menu by doing one of the following.
• Click the Start button.
• Press Ctrl + Esc.
• Press the Windows key.
Click My Computer.
3) Double click the drive for the CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, and browse to the desired photograph file.
Do the following to open a photograph file in Photoshop Elements.
1) Open Photoshop Elements.
2) Go to File > Open.
An Open window will open.
3) If your photograph file is on the hard drive, go to My Documents, and then to My Pictures.
If your photograph file isn't on the hard drive, Go to My Computer.
Double click the icon for the CD, DVD, or USB flash drive.
4) Browse to the photograph file.
5) Select the photograph file.
6) Click Open.
When you double click a photograph file, your computer is set to use a certain program to open the file.
This default setting isn't Photoshop Elements.
If you'd like to open photographs in Photoshop Elements, go to Open With.
