Photoshop Elements: Split Toning, Tips: Passage of Time & Organize Your Photographs (Revised)
Your photographs are probably located in folders in My Pictures (XP & Windows 7) or Pictures (Vista).
Do the following to go to your files.
1) Go to the Windows Start menu by doing one of the following.
• Click the green Start button in the lower left corner of your screen.
• Press Ctrl + Esc.
• Press the Windows key.
2) Click My Pictures and browse to the desired file.
Your files may be in folder that:
• Has the name of your camera manufacturer
• Is the year the photograph was taken.
• Or ?
1) Go to the Windows Start menu by doing one of the following.
• Click the Windows "flag" button in the lower left corner of your screen.
• Press Ctrl + Esc.
• Press the Windows key.
2) Click Pictures and browse to the desired file.
Your files may be in folder that:
• Has the name of your camera manufacturer
• Is the year the photograph was taken.
• Or ?
1) Go to the Windows Start menu by doing one of the following.

• Press Ctrl + Esc.
• Press the Windows key.
2) Click Pictures.
This is the library called Pictures.
It probably contains a folder called My Pictures.
Browse to the desired file in My Pictures.
Your files may be in folder that:
• Has the name of your camera manufacturer
• Is the year the photograph was taken.
• Or ?
Do the following to open a file in Photoshop Elements.
1) Open Photoshop Elements.
2) Go to File > Open, or press Ctrl + o.
An Open window will open.
3) Browse to where your photographs are located in My Pictures or Pictures.
4) Browse to the file.
5) Select the file.
6) Click Open.
When you double click a file in My Pictures or Pictures, your computer is set to use a certain program to open the file.
This default program probably isn't Photoshop Elements.
If you'd like to open photographs in Photoshop Elements when you click them in My Pictures or Pictures, go to Open With.
