The Mac versions of Photoshop Elements don't convert files to the profile from a lab.
The are no stand-alone converters available.
Photoshop Elements doesn't support using printer profiles at labs.
The program doesn't convert a file to the profile from a lab.
However, Dry Creek has created software that enables you to do so.
Do the following.
1) Download Drycreek's ICC Profile Conversion Software.
There are links for the software download, and for the instructions (PDF).
2) Go to Go to My Download Files (XP), Download (Vista), or Downloads (Windows 7), and double click on ProfileConverterSetup.zip.
3) Double click on ProfileConverterSetup.exe to start the installation wizard.
4) If a shortcut icon for the program doesn't appear on your Desktop, do the following.
a) Go to My Computer (XP) or Computer (Vista & Windows 7), and follow the path below.
If you can't find the folders below on your computer, go to Hidden Files & Folders.
C: > Program Files > Dry Creek Photo > ICC Profile Converter > ProfileConverter.exe.
b) Right click on Select ProfileConverter.exe.
c) Select Send To.
d) Select Desktop (create shortcut).
5) Double click the program icon to open the program.
1) Open a photograph in Photoshop Elements.
2) Edit the photograph.
3) Save the photograph as a TIFF (.tif) file.
The program only recognizes TIFF files.
Go to File > Save As, and change the format to TIFF.
You may want to append -profile to the name of the file, so that it stands out when you look for it.
4) Follow Dry Creek's conversion instructions.
5) Save the file as a JPEG before sending to your lab.
If you use the lab's printer profile, you must instruct the lab not to apply any automatic corrections.
There may be a box to deselect on their website, such as Auto Correct.
If there's a comment box, write "Please send to printer as-is, without corrections."
If the lab you use has customers use a kiosk, you may have to bypass it to avoid automated corrections.
Ask the operator if he or she should input your files directly into the printer console instead.
