This tutorial was inspired by the work of lemon_juice.
This tutorial applies to the Windows version of Photoshop Elements 6.0, and to Photoshop Elements 7.0.
The batch-processing scripts below only act on JPEG files.
AutoHotkey is a well known program.
Here's the Wikipaedia entry.
Here are Google searches for AutoHotkey + problem and for AutoHotkey + crash.
The scripts below access the Photoshop Elements menus by using keyboard shortcuts, and the up, down, and right keys.
Therefore, it appears that the scripts are innocuous.
That said, use the scripts at your own risk.
If you have many photographs taken with the same conditions, you can edit them all at once.
This is called batch processing.
Why edit fifty photographs of Max's birthday party one-by-one?
You can process them at the same time with a few clicks.
Unfortunately, Photoshop Elements has very limited batch processing.
But, you can create your own batch-processing script.
It will take you about thirty minutes to set it up.
Thereafter, you'll just have to enter new values, and double click your script, to process many files.
The first step is to download and install AutoHotkey.
