How to Select Thumbnails

Windows

To select thumbnails in a folder window, do the following.

Select Only One Thumbnail

Place the cursor over a file and click.

Select More Than One Thumbnail

Hold down the Ctrl key, and click on thumbnails that you want to select.

Select Contiguous Thumbnails

To select thumbnails that are side-by-side, do the following.

1) Click on the first thumbnail.

2) Hold down the Shift key and click on the last thumbnail.

All of the files between the two clicks will be selected.

Mac

To select thumbnails in a folder window, do the following.

Select Only One Thumbnail

Place the cursor over a file and click.

Select More Than One Thumbnail

Hold down the Cmd key and click on thumbnails that you want to select.

The Cmd key is the Command key.

The key may have an apple icon or a clover-leaf icon.

Select Contiguous Thumbnails

To select thumbnails that are side-by-side, do the following.

1) Click on the first thumbnail.

2) Hold down the Shift key and click on the last thumbnail.

All of the files between the two clicks will be selected.
